Golf: El Cid Golf and Country Club has an impressive 18-hole course, which is complemented by the addition of the new Lee Trevino nine, for a total of 27 championship holes. The Marina Nine, as the course is called, was designed by Lee Trevino using water on seven of the nine holes. This beautiful course is situated in the heart of the Golden Zone and is surrounded by the El Cid Marina. These courses are considered by many as two of the top courses in all of Mexico. The El Cid Golf and Country Club has played host to many international golf events and is situated on a biological reserve that is home to deer, turtles, fish, exotic birds, and crocodiles in a natural setting. There are also racquetball and squash courts available at no charge.
